Roller Blade Disco
Go Deep [both some techno I must have downloaded from Beatport while in the office way in the past]
3 X 3 Lydia Lunch [counterbalance to Samantha Fox]
What Time Is Love KLF [12 inch version]
Death Valley '69 Sonic Youth with special guest, Lydia Lunch.
Heart of Darkness Pere Ubu
TV Baby Magazine
Gun in Your Hand Peter Munch [another obscure techno gem I must have downloaded years ago]
Keine Lust Rammstein [Black Strobe Remix]
Touch Me [I Want Your Body] Samantha Fox [former Page 3 girl in a British tabloid, who use to print half-naked women on that page. They switched to only glamour models in 2013. Catchy pop tune, read her autobiography, excellent stuff.]
Time Space Transmet [Metroplax] Original Juan Atkins Model 500 [vintage Detroit techno]
Bang Bang [LP version] Vanilla Fudge [an engaging pummeling of the Sonny & Cher original]
Blue Jean David Bowie
Dead Souls Joy Division
The "In" Crowd Bryan Ferry [with the classic freelance band that backed Ferry's solo work back in the day: John Wetton on bass, Chris Spedding on guitar. Cuts the original by a mile.]
Since people who receive the Zelda Rising don't tell me how they like the book, I wonder if they think it's a bomb or are speechless about its brilliance. I like to think the latter. They all like the cover though, so there's that.
Shota Imanaga [?] pitched seven shutout innings for the Cubs vs the Pirates yesterday. He's at a record-breaking 0.84 average for May. Another brilliant Japanese player. Cubs won 1-0 thanks to a disputed Bang Bang Vanilla Fudge play at home plate. The crowd was celebrating with a hearty Go Cubs Go, when they stopped it all for a replay. For god's sake, just go with the umpire's call that late in the game. Instant replay is grossly overrated.
